PURPOSE:To reduce power supplied from an exchange side by providing a telephone set with a means for converting light into electric energy to supply a part of power to be consumed in the telephone set. CONSTITUTION:Electric energy supplied from a photoelectric converting circuit 101 mounted on a telephone system 100 to convert light such as sunlight or fluoresent lamp light into electric energy is accumulated in an electric energy accumulating circuit 102 at every conversion. On the other hand, power supplied from the exchange side is inputted to a DC/DC converter 106 through a calling line 107 to obtain various power supply to be consumed in the telephone set. Electric power to be supplied to a control circuit 104 and a communication interface circuit 105 is switched to the DC/DC converter 106 when electric energy accumulated in the circuit 102 is reduced. |
