发明名称 ELECTROTHERMAL MULTICOLORED RECORDING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a multicolored image by a single process, by heating a conductive base coated with a material comprising a uniform mixture of three kinds of microcapsules enclosing leuco dyes capable of forming respectively cyan, magenta and yellow colors, color developers, decolorizing agents and heat-fusible substances as core substances, by passing an electric current to the base. CONSTITUTION:When three different voltages are applied, microcapsules respectively for cyan, magenta and yellow colors form the colors respectively at temperatures T1, T2, T3 (T1<T2<T3). When decolorizing agents 8, 11 are so selected as melted only at temperatures not lower than T2 and T3, respectively, for example, at the temperature T2 the leuco dye for magenta and a color developer for the dye react with each other to form the color, whereas the microcapsules for cyan undergo melting of the decoloring agent, whereby the color-developed cyan dye is decolorized. Thus, the microcapsules for cyan, magenta and yellow independently form the colors at different temperatures, and a multicolor image can be recorded by a single process.
