PURPOSE:To adjust the position of a photodetector very accurately by providing the first and second adjusting grooves around the photodetector and inserting an adjusting cam to these adjusting grooves and rotating it. CONSTITUTION:The photodetector is stuck to the rear face of a photodetector attaching part 7 of a photodetector substrate 1, and thereafter, the photodetector substrate 1 is fixed to a photodetector substrate attaching surface 9a of an optical pickup body 9 by screws 9' and 9'. An adjusting cam 8 is properly inserted to inserting parts 3a' and 3b' or inserting parts 5a' and 5b' and is rotated. Thus, a first or a second connecting part 4 or 6 is plastically deformed to adjust the position of the photodetector in the (x) direction or the (y) direction with respect to the optical axis. |
