PURPOSE:To increase the charge-discharge cycle of a lithium secondary battery by using 1,3-propan sultone as the solvent of electrolyte or a part of the solvent of electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:An electrolyte is prepared by dissolving one or more electrolytes such as LiClO4 and LiPF6 in 1,3-propan sultone, or in a mixture solvent of 1,3-propan sultone and one or more of organic solvents such as 1,2- dimethoxyethane and 1,2-diethoxyethane. The content of the electrolyte is 0.1-3.0 mol/l. |
