CANCER ANTIGENIC CELL STRAIN GROUP, CELL CLONE, PRODUCTION THEREOF AND CANCER DIAGNOSTIC CONTAINING SAME

PURPOSE:To provide a cell strain group having high-frequency sister chromatid exchange character and cancer antigenicity in cytoplasm and on the surface of cell membrane and useful for the diagnosis of various cancers. CONSTITUTION:B-lymphocyte separated from blood of malignant lymphoma patient is sensitized with EB virus to obtain a cell having normal caryotype, a sister chromatid exchange (SCE) character of normal frequency (average level of about 5) and IgM (immunoglobulin M)-positive character in cytoplasm and on the surface of cell membrane. The cell is cancerized by the treatment with a carcinogenic agent and a carcinogenic promoter. A cancer antigenic cell strain group having an average SCE character level of >=30 can be produced by this process. A cell clone having a specific cancer antigenicity can be separated by cloning the cell strain by panning technique.
