发明名称 ELECTRODE MATERIAL FOR SPARK PLUG
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the corrosion resistance, at high temp., of the titled material to be formed by using undermentioned alloy and also to prolong the service life, by limiting Cr content of an Ni-base alloy. CONSTITUTION:An alloy consisting of, by weight, 20-50% Cr and the balance essentially Ni is cast into an ingot, and then forging, hot rolling, and cold wire drawing workings are applied to this ingot to form an electrode material of the prescribed shape. Further, it is desirable that above-mentioned material is formed by the use of an alloy consisting of 42-48% Cr and the balance Ni. Moreover, one or more elements among B, C, Mg, Al, Si, Ti, V, Mn, Fe, Y, Zr, Nb, Mo, Hf, and Ta are preferably further incorporated in the alloy.
