PURPOSE:To obtain a smoothly rotatable noiseless volume controller by connecting the shaft of a DC motor directly to a rotary type volume. CONSTITUTION:The shaft 5 of a DC motor 4, driven by DC input 3, is connected directly to a rotary type volume 2, connected with a volume knob 1. A micro- computer 6 determines the rotating angle of a DC motor 4 and a DC motor driving circuit 7 rotates the DC motor to the rotating angle based on the data thereby controlling the main volume 2, connected directly to the DC motor 4. The shaft 5 of the motor is connected to the rotary type volume 2 directly in such a manner, therefore, mechanical noise due to a reduction gear will never be generated. On the other hand, the volume is driven in a short period of time with a large current and a high torque, further, electric brake is applied thereon, therefore, the stable driving of the rotary type volume 2 may be obtained. |
