PURPOSE:To prevent the removal of a core material at the cutting point when a positive electrode is cut off, and to improve the mechanical strength and the bending property excellently, by arranging the core material of a metal buried in the positive electrode, at a specific angle to the end surface of the positive electrode. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode 5 with an active substance of manganese dioxide or the like, and with a core material 7 of a stainless steel net made into a belt-form sheet by roller-filling, is cut off in a specific size. When it is cut off from the belt-form sheet, the core material 7 has been arranged at the angle 45 deg. to the cutting section of the positive electrode 5. Therefore, when the positive electrode 5 in a belt-form sheet is cut off in a specific size, the removal of the core material 7 at the cutting point is prevented, and the positive electrode with an excellent mechanical strength and the bending property can be obtained. |
