<p>PURPOSE:To improve a data compressibility by obtaining the position of a specific point on a picture from both of an input picture and a reference picture, correcting a deviation between both the pictures by the use of the values and compressing the data. CONSTITUTION:When the position detected by counters 8, 9 is situated on the reference picture, the picture element value of the respectively corresponding positions of the input picture and the reference picture are supplied to a data compressor 5 between the pictures from the memories 2, 3 and the data between the pictures is compressed by using these value. In this case, the output of the data compressor 5 between the pictures is selected in a multiplexer 6 and outputted as an output signal to a signal line 17. When the position decided by the counters 8, 9 is not situated in the reference picture on the memory 3, the picture element value of the input picture in the memory 2 is data compressed with a data compressor 4 in the picture, selected in the multiplexer 6 and outputted to the signal line 17 as the output signal. Thereby, the efficiency in the data compression between the input picture and the reference picture is improved.</p> |
