PURPOSE:To securely keep the fixed interval between a pair of pads so as to improve operating efficiency in exchanging wheels or pads by providing jointing means between friction pads and pistons for pressing the pads, in order to prevent separation of the pads from the pistons. CONSTITUTION:Between the piston 51 of an arm portion 21 and a left friction pad P1 is provided a jointing member J1 so as to prevent separation of the pad P1 from the piston 51. Thereat, an annular groove 81, which is engraved on the front portion of the outer periphery surface of the piston 51, and a locking piece 91 having a hook portion 9a1, which is engaged with the annular groove 81, are fixed to a back plate 61, of the pad to form the jointing means J1. In addition, between the piston 52 of an arm portion 22 and a right friction pad P2 is also provided a jointing member J2 in the same way. Therefore, the fixed interval can be securely kept between both friction pad 61 and 62, thereby improving operating efficiency in exchanging wheels or pads.
