PURPOSE:To obtain the titled structure having excellent deodorant properties, processing properties, washing resistance, fiber-forming properties and mechani cal characteristics, containing a direct copolymer of an unsaturated carboxylic acid (anhydride) and ethylene and copper powder in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The aimed fibrous structure containing (A) >=8wt.% direct copolymer of (i) an unsaturated carboxylic acid, preferably acrylic acid and/or an acid anhydride thereof and (ii) ethylene and (B) wt.% fibrous material containing >=1wt.% copper powder passing through a sieve with 50 meshes. The fibrous structure is preferably spun yarn and further woven and knitted goods.
