PURPOSE:To protect program data and other data even when the runway or the like of a program is generated by protecting data writing in a memory in accordance with the generation of a protecting signal. CONSTITUTION:At the time of protecting data writing, a processor outputs data indicating the protection through a data bus and a protection ON/OFF control register 1 latches the data and generates a protection ON/OFF control signal. At the time of generating the protection ON/OFF signal, a comparator 7 generates an output signal at the time of coincidence between respective high-order bits and the output signal is applied to the memory as a protecting signal to inhibit data writing in the memory. |
