PURPOSE:To prevent influence of humidity and to improve printing quality by heating a recording medium after transfer with an electrostatic recorder which forms a toner image on the recording medium and transfers the image to recording paper. CONSTITUTION:The recording medium 3, which is an endless belt, of the electrostatic recorder used for a facsimile, etc., is moved in an arrow B direction and the pulse voltage corresponding to recording information is impressed to an electrode needle 2 and a magnetic roller 5 to generate an electric latent image charge on the recording medium 3. A magnetic toner 18 is stuck to the latent image charge to form the toner image. The recording medium 3 and the recording paper 12 are brought into pressurized contact with each other between rollers 9 and 13 to transfer the toner image to the recording paper 12. Said image is thermally fixed by a heat roller 14. The recording medium 3 after the transfer is moved to a heating means 14, by which the medium is heated and the moisture sticking to the surface by humidity is removed therefrom. The quality of the recording is thus improved without being affected by the humidity. |
