摘要

PURPOSE:To represent knowledge including a time concept in natural form and to perform appropriate inference regarding time by processing inference by using a knowledge base where time concept knowledge is introduced and the knowledge including the time concept. CONSTITUTION:Time operators 2-2 and 2-3 are constituted in an input goal 2 together with a predicate 2-1, a rule holding part 4 which holds a rule including the time concept knowledge and a time inference rule holding part 5 which predicates the relation between the time operators 2-2 and 2-3 are provided on the knowledge base 1, and an inference engine 3 is provided with a conversion and comparison processing function 6 which converts current time into absolute time and performs processing. This constitution adds a time operator to inference processing to represent the knowledge including the time concept and the extrapolation engine 3 performs the inference processing based on the time inference rule of the knowledge base 1 by using the represented knowledge.
