PURPOSE:To obtain the title superconducting substance forming a superconductive state with liquefied hydrogen and having a high critical temp. with good reproducibility and at a low cost, by mixing La2O3, SrCO3, and CuO in a specified molar ratio, presintering and compression-molding the mixture, and then resintering the molded product. CONSTITUTION:La2O3, SrCO3, and CuO are mixed in the molar ratio of 0.925/0.15/1, and the mixture is presintered. The sintered body is compression- molded, and then resintered to obtain the superconducting substance having a composition expressed by the formula (x is 0.05-0.15) and having a laminar perovskite structure or the similar crystal structure. Since the superconducting substance forms a superconductive state at 40 deg. Kelvin, a superconductive state can be obtained by using the liquefied hydrogen or liquefied neon which can be comparatively easily obtained. Besides, the substance can be easily produced by using a commercial material as the raw material, and the superconducting substance is appropriately used for the driving coil of an electromagnetically driven ship. |
