<p>PURPOSE:To keep a reproducing frequency constant and to perform the recording and the reproducing of an N times speed or a 1/N times speed without switching an analog circuit by multiplying the processing speed of a recording signal by N times or 1/N times at the time of the N times or 1/N times speed recording, and making the processing speed constant at the time of a reproducing independently of the N times speed or the 1/N times speed. CONSTITUTION:The device is controlled so that at the time of the reproducing of an normal speed, the N times speed or the 1/N times speed, the number of revolution of a cylinder motor 11, i.e., the number of revolution of a rotary head 2, is kept constant, and the feeding speed of a magnetic tape 1 and the fetching timing of a reproduced signal are made to be variable. Then, the detecting timing of a pilot signal, which causes a tracking error for the difference of a track scanning, due to the change of the number of revolution of the cylinder motor 11 at the time of the recording and at the time of the reproducing, is made to vary, and is automatically follow-up-controlled to the optimum. Thus, the N times speed or the 1/N times speed recording and reproducing can be performed without changing the reproducing frequency and without switching the analog circuit.</p> |
