<p>Process and device for removing coatings from components with a laser beam, particularly for the removal of insulating layers from wires. The laser beam is directed onto, and moved across, the area from which the coating is to be removed, by means of relative movement between the laser beam and the component. Said coating is thus heated to above evaporating point by the laser beam. Part of the coating is evaporated by the laser beam, which is directed laterally past the component and reflected from a reflexion device.</p> |
