ANTI-HUMAN LUNG ADENOCARCINOMA MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY

PURPOSE:To detect lung adenocarcinoma, by using a monoclonal antibody ALC-390 having reactivity to human lung adenocarcinoma. CONSTITUTION:A monoclonal antibody ALC-390 belongs to an IgG class and has reactivity to a human lung adenocarcinoma cell membrane. This antibody is obtained by a method wherein the splenic cell of a mouse immunized with a human lung adenocarcinoma tissue membrane component is fused to a mouse myeloma cell to form a hybridoma and a monoclonal antibody having reactivity to the human lung adenocarcinoma cell membrane is selected to culture said hybridoma in a medium or administered to the mouse to be taken in the abdominal dropsy thereof and the cultured substance or abdominal dropsy is sampled. By this method, the monoclonal antibody useful for the pathologic diagnosis of human lung adenocarcinoma or the medical treatment thereof is obtained.
