The present invention relates to a device for encasing legs in plaster following fractures or the like. It has the following features: a height-adjustable support is fastened on a clean thigh support and a length-adjustable jib is fixably arranged on the support, the jib having a joint with the aid of which a foot plate can be aligned relative to the jib or the human foot and against which the foot is supported.
