The following problems occurred during the attempt to find a solution for conventional gun (pistol) <- target shot detection: 1. Extraneous light influencing the receivers (targets) 2. A large number of receivers 3. Difficult optical mechanisms in the gun (pistol) 4. Electrical interference 5. A large number of difficult mechanical/optical settings 6. Virtually no possibility to check whether a shot or interference is actually present. The inverse of the firing principle was therefore developed. In this case, virtually all the disadvantages listed above disappear. Furthermore, the gun (pistol) can also be adjusted more easily. The invention is intended to be used predominantly in the construction of entertainment equipment, domestic firing ranges and for practice firing equipment for shooting clubs, the armed forces and the police. In a modified form, it can also be used as a safety device for monitoring the gun (pistol) <- targets separation. <IMAGE>
