<p>The locking mechanism is for a door on a metallurgical vessel, having a plate fixed below the latter on which the door hinges by means of pins (2) passing through coaxial holdes (3,5) in bosses (4,6) at the corners of both. Each pin acts both as a pivot and as a bolt. A stop (8) is provided for each pin and fixed to the base, and restricts its movement so that it can come out of the hole (5) in the door boss (6), but not out of that (3) in the plate boss (4).</p> |
