<p>The keyboard is of the 'clip-on' type which fits around the upper edge of the conventional personal computer keyboard. It has four main pads; a mode control pad (A), tooth identification pad (B), tooth surface schematic pad (C) and a condition and treatment pad (D). The mode pad enables the operator to clear the VDU screen (Clr), display dental status (Sta), display a treatment plan (Pln) or to display patient data e.g. address, account details, etc.. The identification and schematic pads (B,C) are numbered and laid out in accordance with international dental standards. The condition and treatment pad has keys for various tooth parameters, e.g. crowns, fillings, dummies, fissures, etc.. The keyboard is used with special software developed for use with a variety of commercially available personal computers. (7pp Dwg.No.2/4) (Printed in week 8851).</p> |
