PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high image quality without causing positional deviation in reading an original image and positional deviation in exposure by inhibiting the rocking of a toner bottle at the time of forming an image. SOLUTION: When a high quality mode is selected by depressing a high quality mode key, a printing key is depressed under the control of a base engine control part and a CPU. In such a case, the rocking action of the toner bottle 28a, the rocking action of a cleaning blade 32a and toner replenishing action are not performed(an actuator motor and various clutches do not act) in a printer part 12 while original scanning by an image reader 11 and exposure to a photoreceptor drum 25 are being performed (that means, at the time of forming the image). Thus, the rocking of a mirror, a CCD or a lens in the reader 11 and the irregularities of the image at the time of exposing the photoreceptor are prevented from being caused by vibration or impact from the printer part 12, and high-quality image reading is performed. |
