PURPOSE:To accurately detect only laser light irradiation from a target without being affected by laser light emitted by itself by blanking a detection signal outputted by a laser irradiation detector until its laser light is reflected and returns. CONSTITUTION:The laser irradiation detector 1 has plural photodiodes and is enabled to detect an irradiation direction while detecting whether or not laser light is emitted. A blanking controller 2 has a timer circuit 21 which is started with a laser transmission timing signal and an AND circuit 22 as a logic circuit. Then when the target emits laser light, the detector 1 detects that and sends a laser detection direction signal to the blanking controller 2. When a laser transmitter that an armament mounting the detector 1, etc., has emits laser light, on the other hand, a laser transmission timing signal is sent to the timer circuit 21, which generates a blanking signal to let the AND circuit 22 perform blanking processing for a specific time. Consequently, even when the detector 1 performs detecting operation with laser light that the detector sends by itself, the detection direction signal can be removed through the operation of the controller 2.
