Device consisting of two half-medallions 2 and 3 intended to be worn by two different people and which have the particular feature of being able to be joined perfectly to form just one medallion 1, which particular feature requires the possibility of being able to join the two "compatible" half-medallions in the manner of two pieces of a puzzle. The two half-medallions are worn by virtue of a protuberance pierced with a hole for a ring and a chain to pass therein. This joining of the two half-medallions enables the two "wearers" to be identified owing to the fact that the two half-medallions include engraved words, letters, figures, symbols, etc. or other markings, which are able to have a meaning and a significance only if the two compatible half-medallions are joined in order to solve the riddle and thus know the two "wearers", thereby signifying that one shares a half-medallion with someone else. <IMAGE>
