PURPOSE:To take out a pair of horizontal rolls, upper and lower together with each chock and to reduce the roll changing time by providing chock part guides capable of vertical adjustment so that they do not protrude from each chock in the conveying direction of rolled stock. CONSTITUTION:The front ends of a pair of chock part guides, upper and lower 5A, 5B equipped on chocks 4A, 4B are supported in contact with the peripheral surfaces of the rolls of horizontal rolls 3A, 3B while the rear ends are supported so that their positions can be adjusted vertically. Therefore, when the chock part guides 5A, 5B are set on the chocks 4A, 4B, opposing guide faces 8a, 8b can be adjusted so that they run in parallel to each other. In addition the chock part guides 5A, 5B are provided in the conveying direction 2m of rolled stock so that they do not protrude from each chock 4A, 4B, and horizontal rolls 3A, 3B can be taken out easily together with the chocks 4A, 4B out of roll stands 1R, 1L. |
