PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene composition having excellent workability, high die swell ratio, high-quality surface, dimensional stability of a finished product, environmental stress cracking resistance (FNCT) and impact resistance, which is suitable for producing various kinds of molded products.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyethylene composition having improved swell ratio and mechanical properties, particularly suitable for producing a blow molded product, which has the following properties: 1) a density at 23°C of 0.945 g/cm3 or more and less than 0.952 g/cm3, preferably 0.948 to 0.951 g/cm3 as determined by ISO1183, 2) a ratio MIF/MIP of 15 to 30 where MIF is a melt flow index at 190°C and a load of 21.60 kg, and MIP is a melt flow index at 190°C and a load of 5 kg, both determined according to ISO 1133 and 3) a shear induced crystallization index (SIC) of 2.5 to 5.5.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
