The invention relates to a double hinge with separable elements consisting of a male hinge element 1a capable of being combined by embedding into a door of a piece of furniture and supporting, in projecting fashion, an element with two opposite hinge knuckles 4 one of which is intended to be driven into the end which faces it of the tubular spacer element 22 and the other is intended to support, in a rotary fashion, a female hinge knuckle 1 with a cap 3. The latter has a support arm 5 consisting of a body in the form of a sliding box, or slider 6, guided on a spider element 9 in a removable manner and so that it can be adjusted perpendicularly with respect to the door; the spider element 9 is mounted so that it can move and be adjusted in the direction transverse to that of the sliding support arm 5 on a small plate 12 anchored in a stable fashion to the piece of furniture. The combination of the horizontal movement of the sliding body 6 and of the transverse movement of the spider element 9 allow adjustment of the position of the door both in height and in the lateral direction with respect to the male hinge element. A pawl 25a for closure is capable of making the hinge a self-locking hinge. <IMAGE>
