The invention relates to a grinding attachment for a meat-mincing machine which has, at the outlet end of a meat-mincing machine casing, a space for receiving a perforated cutting disc and an external screw thread for a union nut, a meat-mincing machine conveying worm being rotatably mounted in the meat-mincing machine casing and terminating in an eccentric carrier projection. The grinding attachment is made cheap to produce and yet optimisation of its grinding conditions independently of the meat-mincing machine is made possible by the fact that a collar of a grinding casing can be inserted into the space for receiving the perforated cutting disc in the meat-mincing machine casing and can be fastened to the meat-mincing machine casing by means of the union nut, by the fact that a bearing shoulder of a grinding conveying worm is rotatably mounted in the collar and can be coupled in a non-rotating manner to the carrier shoulder of the meat-mincing machine conveying worm, by the fact that on the free end of the grinding conveying worm there is mounted in a non-rotating manner a grinding cone, which interacts with a conically shaped grinding device which is fixed in the grinding casing, by the fact that a ground material outlet aperture is inserted into the underside of the grinding casing in connection with the grinding mechanism which is composed of the grinding cone and the conically shaped grinding device, and by the fact that a hopper for receiving the ground material opens out into the grinding casing from the top in the region of the grinding conveying worm.
