The present invention relates to a bag for a dust sack of a vacuum cleaner, which is made of a nonwoven and whose contents (4) exhibit disinfecting or/and fragrant active substances. These contents (4) may contain one or more types of spice which yield the active substances. The bag (3) may also contain an inert substrate which is impregnated with aromatic or ethereal oils, with a disinfectant and the like. The nonwoven may be a paper nonwoven in which the openings between the individual fibres are smaller than the smallest grains of the bag contents. The bag is an effective and inexpensive means for disinfecting and/or improving the quality of the ambient air. <IMAGE>
