In a solenoid valve, which is provided for a bypass of a throttle housing, a closing element (9) is provided which on the outside is movable against a valve seat (10). Its closing element face has passages (16, 17) which in the closed position bear against a disc (13) arranged in the aperture to be controlled and are covered by the disc (13) forming a seal. The disc (13) also has passages (14, 15), which in the closed position are covered by the closing element (9). When the closing element (9) opens, a flow cross-section through the passages (15, 15; 16, 17) is freed in addition to the usual flow cross-section outside past the closing element (9). <IMAGE>
