The invention concerns a method for casting concrete slabs on ground, the casting being carried out in separate stages by dividing the slab into casting sections 13, joints being arranged between the casting sections, in which joints there are placed a number of elongate shuttering elements 1 which are arranged in continuous succession and on which a bottom reinforcement 9 is placed. The shuttering element remains in the concrete after setting and has holes or threaded sleeves 2 intended to receive screw-threaded retention members 6 which can be adjusted in height and are intended to support rails 8, 8' serving as supports for vibration and/or smoothing devices 14 during casting.
