In the case of short-time power units, lubricating cartridges are inserted centrally into the rotor, these cartridges providing the minimum oil flow required to lubricate the bearings of the rotor during the period for which it is in operation. Where ambient temperatures are warm, the use of lubricating cartridges of this kind is satisfactory; in the case of cold ambient temperatures, the delivery of oil is delayed and this leads to damage to the bearing. The invention proposes a lubricating cartridge with two chambers filled with lubricant of different viscosities. Together, these chambers make available the minimum oil flow required. The lubricating device is intended for use in short-time power units. <IMAGE>
