<p>Guides are provided for the lifters so that they engage the crates either for stacking them or breaking down the stack. The lifters are fitted on vertically controlled frames which are raised by compressed air cylinders, and coupled for parallel-controlled movement. The coupling between the frames is by toothed belts running over gearwheels.</p> |
