Amino disulphides of formula (I) and (II), useful as antitumour agents, are new. In the formulas, AlR1 is opt. branched C1-6 alkylene when R7 is joined by a C atom, or C2-6 alkylene when R7 is joined by S, O or N, and R7 and -SS- are joined to different C atoms; Alk2 is opt. branched C2-6 alkylene opt. substd. by R7; Alk1 and Alk1 may contain a double bond; R is H, lower alkyl, lower alkanoyl or (substd.) benzoyl.
