PURPOSE:To form a coil of a material concerned directly of raw material powder or of a mixture of said raw material powder by filling a ceramics system superconductor or its precursor in grooves of a heat-resisting supporter having a series of grooves of the same shape as that of the coil desired to manufacture in the surface followed by sintering. CONSTITUTION:Paste of powder of a ceramics system superconductor or powder of its precursor is mechanically filled in a series of grooves in the surface of a heat-resisting supporter. Or, the ceramics system superconductor or its precursor is vapor-deposited and filled by sputtering. Side walls and bottom walls of the grooves are formed of the same material as that of the heat- resisting supporter, however, the side walls and the bottom walls are desirably all over covered with a good conductive material, for example, copper, gold, silver and nickel. The superconductor or its precursor having filled the grooves of the heat resisting supporter is subsequently sintered. A sintering temperature depended on the material used. In the case of the superconductive material, 700-1000 deg.C is desirable. Thereby, a coil can be formed directly of the ceramics system superconductor or its precursor. |
