PURPOSE:To prepare a document efficiently by providing a voicing speed detection part, a key input speed detection part, and a speech output part. CONSTITUTION:The document creating device is equipped with a microphone 5 which inputs a voice, an A/D converter 6 for the speech, a speech file 7, the voicing speed detection part 8, a voicing speed control table 9, the key input detection part 10, the speech output part 11, a speech D/A converter 12, and a speaker 13. Then when the document is created, detection information is outputted to the speech output part 11 every time the key input speed detection part 10 detects one character input. Thus, the speech output part 11 knows the speed of input from a keyboard, so the voicing speed control table 9 is accessed corresponding to the speed to obtain an address corresponding to a monosyllable section, thereby segmenting the monosyllable in the speech file 7 corresponding to the address. |
