PURPOSE:To make the deburring work in the peripheral ends of a molded roller to be unnecessary by the use of a specific molding apparatus which can remove the bur generating at the peripheral parts of a roller during molding rollers. CONSTITUTION:Capping members 20, 22 are secured to both end opening parts 16, 18 of a cylindrical hole 12 so as to hold a shaft-shaped core iron member 26 coaxially with the cylindrical hole 12 within the molding die 10 having the cylindrical hole 12 pierced therethrough. Silicone rubber is injected therein through the injection hole 30(A) of the capping member 30 via the injection hole 22 of the capping member 20. After curing, the capping member 20, 22 at the both ends of the molding die 10 and capping member covers 30, 32 are integrally taken down from the molding die 10. At this time, the parts 50(A), 50(B) flown in and cured in the grooves 20(D), 22(D) of the capping members are cut down together with the bur projecting over the tapered parts of the capping members by the top joist parts 20(C), 22(C). Thus, the deburring work in the end portion of the roller becomes unnecessary. |
