PURPOSE:To prevent a blur in printing, by a method wherein a printing is carried out while a non-printing area of a predetermined address to be selected is preheated. CONSTITUTION:If image data for 8 dots is supplied to a 3-line buffer 13 from an external equipment, according to the data the 3-line buffer 13 stores the data for one line. Simultaneously, signals for three lines are successively fed to a surrounding dot buffer 15 correspondingly to shift signals for every dot. To detect the state of the surrounding dots corresponding to a window frame M from the data for three lines, the surrounding dot buffer 15 processes the data for 5 dots as an address signal. On the other hand, according to this signal an intermediate code table 16 determines an intermediate code of an address corresponding to a window frame pattern M0 which is previously inputted from a CPU 2. This intermediate code represents a post-correction heating time for preventing a blur in printing. In this manner, an intermediate code is calculated for every area for one dot, whereby the number of application per dot, i.e. the number (time) of conduction, is corrected. |
