Provided are a method of operating a terminal and device utilizing the same. The method comprises: receiving an operation instruction, displaying on a specific area of a terminal screen a virtual operation interface corresponding to the specific area, wherein the specific area is an operation area indicated by the operation instruction, and the operation area is located on the screen; receiving a selection instruction, and displaying on the virtual operation interface an app icon located on a screen area and indicated by the selection instruction, wherein the screen area is an area obtained by dividing the screen according to a preset layout format. The present invention addresses the problem in the related art in which a user is inconvenient to operate a terminal having a big screen with a single hand, thereby improving a user experience. |
