PURPOSE:To cause the saturation magnetizing characteristic of a full width to be equal and to obtain unified writing intensity with a constant recording current by providing a short circuit core part to shorten the magnetic path length of a magnetic circuit in one side between a central I-shaped core and a second C-shaped core. CONSTITUTION:A pair of short circuit cores 12 is provided to link a second C-shaped core 2 and an I-shaped core 3 in the middle position of the length-wise direction of the core 3. By the conduction of a coil 7 for writing, a magnetic circuit 8, which goes through the center of the width-wise direction of the core, and a short circuit magnetic circuit 13, which goes through the cores 2, 3 and 12 in both sides, are generated. Since the circuit 13 goes through the core 12, the magnetic path length goes to be short and magnetic flux intensity goes to be large in inverse proportion to the magnetic path length. Accordingly, the writing intensity is increased in magnetic gaps 5 in the both sides and the intensity goes to be same as the central magnetic gap of the strong intensity. Thus, the saturation magnetizing characteristic of the writing track full width goes to be equal and the unified writing intensity can be obtained with the constant recording current. |
