The device consists of photoelectric cells (4,5) situated on a supporting cone (2) for the supply cone (1) provided with through holes (3). The electronic amplifier circuit (6) of known type is connected to the cells through switch (8) on cone (2) which is actuated when the supply cone is installed. When the yarn on cone (1) is exhausted the light reaches cells (4,5) which emit a signal amplified by circuit (6) to stop the machine. (1/1)
