<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a spiral pipe having a less residual strain by giving a winding effect to a band-like profile having a fitting part at one side edge and a locking part at the other side edge, and then by fitting the fitting part with the locking part while spirally winding the band-like profile. CONSTITUTION:During a synthetic resin band-like profile 1 having at one side edge a fitting part 11 and at other side edge a locking part 2 is spirally wound with the use of a pipe producing machine for producing a spiral pipe, the production of the pipe is made after giving a curing effect in the same direction as that of the winding. The profile 1 which has been extrusion-molded is subjected to a linearly forming process and is then fed into a heating tank to be preheated in order to obtain a spiral forming, and thereafter the profile 1 is introduced into a spiral applying machine so as to give the curing effect. As a result, it is possible to reduce residual strain after production of a pipe, and it is possible to easily bend the pipe under a small load. Further, it is possible to prevent the pipe from being bent back.</p> |
