The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a rotating electric machine capable of suppressing the deterioration of the connected state of a connection portion between a connection wiring and a coil terminal and a drop in the connection strength. The rotating electric machine according to the present invention comprises: a ring-shaped insulative holder that is disposed on one side of the axial direction of a stator and on an outer diameter side of a plurality of coils wherein a plurality of grooves is concentrically formed; a plurality of band-shaped conductive members each formed in a band shape having a rectangular cross section and stored in each of the grooves; and the connection wiring comprising a circumferential direction extension portion that, after extending from a side end portion of one side of the axial direction of the band-shaped conductive members, extends in the circumferential direction in parallel with the band-shaped conductive members of one side of the axial direction of the insulative holder, and a radial direction extension portion that extends in the radial direction from an end portion opposite the band-shaped conductive members of the circumferential direction extension portion via a bent portion and that has on the side opposite the bent portion an end portion connected to the coil terminal to be connected.
