The invention relates to an apparatus for use in underground mining, for example in coal mining, and in tunnelling, a conveyor, pressure and filter-emptying screw or several screws of this type, which work in parallel, being allocated to at least one bunker, which screws pass through the bunker at the bottom and are always in full activity. The relevant conveyor screws are motor-driven. Each screw discharges into a mixing chamber which can be connected by one cyclone separator or another in which the material to be conveyed is separated from the carrier air and then the material to be conveyed collected here is pneumatically fed by pneumatic pressurising of the cyclone separator via a material feed line to the consuming point.
