A process for improving combustion of liquid hydrocarbons and reducing N0x emissions. The process comprises burning the liquid hydrocarbon in the presence of an additive composition to improve measurably the combustion efficiency. The additive composition comprises a dicyclopentadienyliron compound in combination with a suitable organic solvent. By virtue of using the additive compound, the excess air requirements can be adjusted downwardly to reduce NOx emissions in combustion products. |
