PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for an adhesive tape which has sufficient strength excellent in sticking properties and cutting properties not only to a flat surface but also to a curved surface, an uneven surface and a rough surface (rough sand-like finished wall surface or the like).SOLUTION: There is provided a base material for an adhesive tape having 3.0-7.0 g/mof a resin layer containing a resin having a Tg of -20°C to 0°C provided on at least one surface of a resin-impregnated base material impregnated with 7.0-13.0 g/mof an impregnated resin having a Tg of -60°C to -30°C, in a base material composed of a cellulose fiber and a synthetic fiber.SELECTED DRAWING: None
