This invention relates to an apparatus for cooling concrete under kneading and mixing by disposing a gas-liquid separator in a liquid nitrogen feed conduit communicating with a concrete mixer from a liquid nitrogen supply source in such a manner that the total self-weight of the gas-liquid separator can be measured, supplying liquid nitrogen separated from a gas by this gas-liquid separator into the concrete mixer, detecting and controlling the feed quantity of liquid nitrogen to the mixer from the weight change of the gas-liquid separator and cooling the concrete under kneading by supplying liquid nitrogen under a substantially liquid state to the concrete during kneading.
