The present invention relates to a container with controlled atmosphere allowing the use of the stored product at any time, free of chemical residues and noxious proteins produced by fungi, bacteria or aerobic or anaerobic moulds, preferably using high energy density capillaries of one of the ceramic blocks 5 and the modification of the electrostatic equilibrium of the environment by means of a thermionic emission accelerated by an anode 6. The invention applies more particularly to the long-term storage of hygroscopic products and of those which are favourable to the proliferation of micro-organisms, such as coffee, peanuts and the like. <IMAGE>
