Valve to control hydraulic pressure difference - uses rotary vane to separate two partial chambers

The valve arrangement controls the pressure difference between two points of a hydraulic system continuously fed by a pump. It has a valve chamber (2) divided into two partial chambers (2.1 and 2.2) by a rotary vane (1). The contours of the valve chamber wall are so formed that on displacing the vane to one side (1') of the inlet opening (3) the throttling effect on the hydraulic connections (11,12) is respectively reduced and increased. USE/ADVANTAGE - Valve arrangement for controlling servomotors used for example in vehicle hydraulic steering systems which requires relatively small control forces.
